Rainbow Six: Siege Esports 2020 Season 1 Stage 1 Results

A whole new structure and a fresh start to the Rainbow Six: Siege esports scene also means a chance for new victors. Season 1 Stage 1 of the European, North American, and Asia-Pacific Leagues of Siege’s first Major hosted by FACEIT have finished. Meanwhile, the Latin American League, which began on July 2, 2020, will finish on August 2. Rainbow Six: Siege esports teams competed to qualify for the Six August 2020 Major.

European League’s Season 1 Stage 1 began on June 22 and ended July 20. Using the best of 1 match format, a total of 10 teams fought for the top four spots. The top four teams will move on to the Six August 2020 Major. Rogue came in first, followed by BDS Esport in second, G2 Esports in third, and Virtus.pro in fourth.

These teams defeated Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Tempra Esports, Team Empire, Team Secret, and Chaos Esports Club.

R6 Esports Season 1 Stage 1 of the United States Division in the North American League began June 22 and ended July 22. Using the best of 3 match format, a total of 8 teams battled it out for the top four spots. Spacestation Gaming ended first, Team SoloMid in second place, and Oxygen Esports in third place will move on to the Six Major. DarkZero Esports was left in fourth place to participate in the North American League Qualifier for a shot at qualifying.

These four teams beat the likes of Susquehanna Soniqs, Tempo Storm, Disrupt Gaming, and eUnited.

As for the Canada Division, the first place will continue to the North American League Qualifier. Following the best of 3 match format, Mirage comes in first, with Nordik Esports in second, Altiora in third, and LiViD Gaming in fourth.

With the South Division tournaments canceled, that only leaves the North Division teams. A total of 12 teams participated in Asia Pacific League Stage 1. Following a best of 1 match format, the top 6 teams will move on to the Six Major. Giants Gaming finished in first, with Cloud9 in second place, GUTS Gaming in third, Xavier Esports in fourth, FAV gaming in fifth, and CYCLOPS athlete gaming in sixth place.

These 6 teams conquered Fnatic, QConfirm, Talon Esports, Electrify Esports, PET Nora-Rengo, and SCARZ.

Don’t forget to tune in to Season 1 Stage 1 Latin American League, the last league to finish. For fans aching for more European matches, the GSA League 2020 ends on August 3, 2020. Challenger League is currently ongoing. But the next Rainbow Six: Siege esports event to look forward to is the biggest. The Six August 2020 Major begins on August 3, with the Asia-Pacific region.
