Dota 2 Summer Event is here

Valve just announced its Dota 2 Summer Event. Aghanim’s Labyrinth will soon open up for players around the world to face its challenges. Starting July 21, players can participate in the long-awaited Dota 2 Summer Event.

Aghanim’s Labyrinth and Trials

This challenge is a four-player cooperative event similar to a dungeon crawl. Teams must work together to take down the special monsters in Aghanim’s Labyrinth. And those who make it to the end will find exciting new prizes should they defeat the boss. Various prizes for the highest scorers in Aghanim’s Trials can be earned. And the top scorer of the week can earn a special Dota 2 Baby, Aghanim’s Interdimensional Baby Roshan. Other prizes include Waterlogged Kunkka Shoes, random Arcanas, and an exclusive in-game character effect.

Especially since Dota 2 The International will be different this year, the arrival of the Dota 2 Summer Event is perfect. Players can queue for Aghanim’s Trials in a two-hour window each week. These trials will begin on Tuesday, July 21 and continue each Sunday during the TI10 Battle Pass.

Taking place with a weekly format, dungeons are randomized each week to allow for new challenges. A real-time leaderboard rewards top scorers and gives them recognition.

Because The International 10 has been postponed and fans are unsure exactly how it will take place, the Dota 2 Summer Event empowers fans. Valve continues to create a positive player environment through new events and content. Now that the arrival of the summer event is here, the scene remains strong despite setbacks with Dota 2 esports.
